Hello everyone,
I have received the SD Floppy Emulator, I have an Amiga 1200 with Blizzard 1260 accelerator 32MB RAM and 4GB CFHD.
The SD floppy emulator works well without the accelerator, but inserted it does not work, makes a repetitive noise, the LEDs light up all at once and does not work.
Anyone know why?, I've also tested with a M1230XA and does not work.
Thank you.

A power supply issue maybe ?Fernecho wrote:Hello everyone,

I use a PC power supply, is 230W, I'll try another, but this always worked well, HDD, CD-Rom. Blizzard 1260 without problems. Anyway, I'll try another.Jeff wrote:A power supply issue maybe ?Fernecho wrote:Hello everyone,

Hi!
It's as jeff said, it's a power supply problem.
I mentioned it here: http://torlus.com/floppy/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=622
And here you have my video with the same issue as you have (IMO...):
http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/1410/hjg.mp4
I'm using like you, an ATX PSU, and never had problems. But seems the Amiga drains too much power when using an accelerator, and the lines used by the floppy power connector are insufficient, (again IMO...), so
First, try to power it externally, and after that (if everything goes ok), solder a cable from the PSU connector (inside amiga) directly to the power supply connector of the Hxc. SOLVED
Regards.

Jeff is right, and you too, is a power supply problem, the problem is the cable that feeds the floppy drive and the CF at the same time, I changed the cable (I had a problem with one of the connectors), and now all works perfectly, is a marvel.javidoom wrote:Hi!
