Problem with OLED and Gotek
Re: Problem with OLED and Gotek
You may either reset the device by ISP jumper or follow an Firmware Update procedure: put latest UPD (e.g. HXCFEUSB_V3_1_1_4a.UPD) on USB drive, put the USB drive to Gotek, and turn it on holding both buttons pressed, wait 2-3 sec and release the buttons, wait for device to reset. After reset the OLED will turn on. Next remove the USB flash drive (without turning Gotek off), and push both buttons simultaneously. This will bring the configuration menu in which you may set many things including Startup delay (don't remember the exact label for it). Set it to at least 3s (better 5s) and navigate to Exit, wait to exit (default 4s to accept current selection, I prefer 2s, could be set there too), and that's it. After power-cycling Gotek the OLED should now turn on after set delay.

Damn, these craps are definitively everywhere...
Re: Problem with OLED and Gotek
Another possibility : start the device, wait 5 seconds and then reset it (make a contact between the pin rst and the vss).tzok wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 11:34 pmYou may either reset the device by ISP jumper or follow an Firmware Update procedure: put latest UPD (e.g. HXCFEUSB_V3_1_1_4a.UPD) on USB drive, put the USB drive to Gotek, and turn it on holding both buttons pressed, wait 2-3 sec and release the buttons, wait for device to reset. The screen should start.
Re: Problem with OLED and Gotek
This is what I meant by resetting via ISP header and actually this is ~RESET so short it to GND (Vss), not Vcc (not everyone sees the difference between Vss and Vcc ).
