HxC Manager slow and missing features?

Post by dos »

I recently got an SD HxC Rev C from amigastore.eu, it has the latest firmware and I've installed the manager from the HxC website, the device is working but navigating the onscreen menu is much slower than in videos I've seen online like this one:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRJ6jFWbB-k

Any time I navigate to a folder with disk image files in it, the hourglass spins for a while before it frees up to let you work in the directory. I have every game's images in their own folder, so it's only displaying a few images at a time, not even a large list like in that video. Also, the manager software seems to be missing many of the features of the one I see in every video and screenshot online, with only a list of files and no display of slots, drives, directories on the same page as in that video. Is there some newer version of the manager or something that's not on the main website?

I'm running the device from the external port using a df0 selector but it behaves the same way when installed internally as well.

Here's a video I made of the process of launching a multidisk game on my setup, you can see the delays when going back and forth from the directory listing to the slots, and also the barebones file selector:

Could you make an image of your sdcard, zip it, and copy it to my ftp server (i will send you the login/pass) ?

http://www.osforensics.com/tools/write-usb-images.html ("Create image from USB drive" function)

I need it to debug the autoboot.hfe

I have the image ready, but it's a 32gb card. I don't have a very fast upload and it will take a very long time. Is there any other way? Also, I don't see a private message system on this forum, how will you be sending the login/pass?
