Kurzweil K2600 and .K26 files

Post by teevee »

I have this Kurzweil K2600 and I want to replace the floppy drive with this modern solution.

I have set the jumper on S0 [because you also do that on Kurzweil K2000]

But I have trouble with converting the file extension to .HFE. Kurzweil K2600 has a file exntesion called .K26 [not .krz like Kurzweil K2000] and doesn’t seem to be supported by the HxC Floppy Emulator Software.

I would like to convert this .K26 file to .HFE [See attachment]

Are you able to help? :)

Tip from Kurzweil knowledge base: [Link]
The K2500 saves files with a .K25 extension; the K2600 saves them with a .K26 extension; the K2000 saves them with a .KRZ extension. However, the file formats are the same.
Note:
It should also be possible for Kurzweil K2600 to use .KRZ [backward compatibility]
