Hi,
I'm trying to get a Gotek with HxC firmware running with my Atari ST.
I have brought the firmware up to date with the latest version and installed it.
I downloaded the Floppy Drive Manager for Atari ST, and have run into the following issue;
- the autboot.hfe loads up ,and I can move *.st files into different slots.
- I can then reboot and it loads up the slot with the game
This all works fine, but if I then select slot 00 to get the manager back, it loads but with the 2 or 3 bomb symbols.
The manager is unusable in this stage and I have to re-apply the files to the USB drive.
Any ideas what is going on? I've tried different combinations of jumpers (SD0, MOT on and off - which is correct?)
I've also tried recreating the CFG file with the HxC software - doesn't seem to help.
Cheers,
Paul

This is probably a boot virus present on one of these game image that alter the autoboot.hfe.

Interesting, I hadn't thought of that.
I'll try some different .st files and see if I can get a different result.
Cheers Paul

Hi mate.
Can you please post the link for the floppy drive manager?
Also how do you update the firmware?
Thanks

I've come across the same problem. A shut down, and power fixes the issue.

If you have TOS 1.06 or newer try Alt+Ctrl+Shift+Delete...
