Wait some seconds, <<TX: 0>> should increase and then the process will begin.

I waited several minutes and reseted sereval times - nothing happens in the TX field.

Do I have to configure the Serial Port (baud, parity etc.?)
Do I have to jumper the Gotek Pins like S0 or S1 ?

no log into your account, so you probably have mistyped your login into the software. Be careful with case and spaces.

Mine is set to COM 1 but there's no movement in the TX/Rx fields. Left it a few minutes and reset it a few times too.
I have followed connections from guide you sent but I'm at a loss? :?:

You need to be connected to the server. Please tell me if you have received the email with your login/password.

Good news on that side.!! :D
I had the COM port wrong and set it to 6. Then she worked! But after that, I haven't seen the LDR on screen? Have I missed something out?

press both buttons at power up with a usb stick (having the firmware upd file in the root folder) inserted.

I have done this and also followed your guidance as per instruction, but not matter what I do, I can't move it from nor mode.
I have:
Fully formatted flash driver to FAT32
Copied HxCFEUSB_V3_4_9_4a.UPD
Then indexed files to the flash drive.
Put flash into gotek and held down the 2 buttons. Turned on emu e6400 and still receive use, rib (for some seconds) then nor.

No matter whether I try indexed or autoboot, I'm getting the same result
Function led flashes but not like the blinks you've posted in your FAQ page. It blinks 1 and I'd say every 5 seconds.
I guess I could email a clip of what's going on??

Also, just FYI. I do however have a rotary knob for it so which firmware to use please?

Sorry if this is "spoon feeding me" but I am trying to understand. 🙈

Merci beaucoup!!

https://hxc2001.com/docs/gotek-floppy-e ... oting.html

"Rib" message :

 This doesn't work : The floppy image appears to be loaded by the emulator, but the machine can't read the disk.
The Gotek green LED is permanently lit (no flashing) and/or i can read "Rib" at power up on the display

The floppy ribbon is probably connected to the wrong way. Try to reconnect it to the other way.

Explanation : A wrongly connected floppy ribbon force the drive selection by short-circuiting the floppy signals to the ground, and make the selection LED always lit. Of course the machine can't communicate with the emulator in such situation.
Be aware that with some machines the floppy ribbon coloured wire is NOT the pin 1 !

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Nor" message :

 This doesn't work : I see "Nor" on the display when inserting the USB stick

The emulator is in "NORmal mode".

Since you don't have any OLED or LCD screen, you need to use the indexed mode or the "autoboot"/file selector mode if you have an Amiga/Atari ST/CPC.

- In indexed mode you must use the indexed config file and name the files images DSKA0000.XXX, DSKA0001.XXX, DSKA0002.XXX (replace XXX by the original file extension.)

- In "autoboot"/file selector mode you must use the "autoboot"/file selector config file and the autoboot.hfe available for your machine. The images selection is done with a file selector software (autoboot.hfe) to set the "slots" (supported on Atari ST, Amiga, CPC).

See the usage page for more details.

The HXCSDFE.CFG config files and autoboot.hfe files are in the firmware archive.
