Gotek + HXC + Akai and 1000 Ohms mod

On our HxC Floppy Emulator Status List under Akai is mentioned a note for S-950, S-1000, S-2000 and S-20- ->

“1000 Ohms resistor pull-up on RDATA (wire N°30)”

Can someone please advise/confirm if it is also necessary for the Gotek product or only the lotharek/sd version?

I got a friend who want to install a Gotek drive with flashed HxC in his Akai s-1000KB

I think that there is already some resistors on the gotek, but not sure if the value is right.
Just try it.
