Can't access HD images straight from boot (HxC Gotek)

Hi Jeff

I noticed a small problem accessing HD (1.44MB) images.

If I reboot with a HD image mounted on the Gotek, and then try to access the image, I get a "General Failure" read error. If I change to a low-density image, then back to the HD image, everything is OK.

This problem doesn't affect low-density images.

Any ideas? Thanks

Are you using the latest firmware version ? (3.0.6.0a)

Yes, this is still an issue with 3.0.6.0a.

Disabling the XT BIOS floppy post has fixed this problem, so it wasn't anything to do with the Gotek. Thanks & sorry.
