Hi TheSoulEntity,

1.You can buy the floppy pre-build and flashed here ->
http://lotharek.pl/

2. Connect molex cable (Power cable), ribbon cable (Be aware that you turn it correct) and set jumper to A

3. Download package below, throw the content from "SDHxCFE_Akai_S950" on your SD, which is formated as Fat32.
https://hxc2001.com/download/floppy_driv ... Images.zip

4. Make some music.

Okay, good to know that you got a Gotek USB flashed with HxC.

1. What “OOPS!” error message do you get? (The exact error, please) :)
2. Is your Gotek drive updated with the newest firmware? (How to https://hxc2001.com/docs/gotek-floppy-e ... pdate.html)
3. How did you set the jumper?
4. How did you turn the ribbon cable
5. What image did you use?

1. OPPS! Disk is write-protected. Take it out and close the switch in the corner.
2. I bought this drive as a plug n play. I am not sure on the firmware.
3. I didn't move the jumper. What should it be on?
4. I hooked up the ribbon cable notch to notch. Should it be flipped?
5. Not sure on the image used. The files on my USB that came with the drive are as followed... DSKA0000.HFE-DSKA0053.HFE ( Single Files ) & HXCSDFE.CFG

Thanks for the help.

After reading the link you sent... I am now able to format, save & load from disk! The issue was the ribbon cable needed to be flipped so that the blue wire was on the left side and not the right. Thanks for your help brotha!
