I´ve downloaded HXCSDFE.CFG file and som blank formatted images for akai mpc60 but no luck. still gets no disk in drive message.

Could someone please explain what i need to do?

Set the indexed mode into the cfg file and rename your hfe files DSKA0000.HFE,DSKA0001.HFE,DSKA0002.HFE...

Soon I will be putting a Gotek/HXC in my MPC60II (software 2.12).
I'll keep you informed about how that'll go.

Hello,

Today I started the Gotek + HXC + MPC60II project.
Flashing the Gotek went flawless.

I connectected the Gotek this way:
34 pin cable and PSU kabel are connected the same way as they were on the original floppy drive.
(34 pin cable isn't reversed. Pin 1 goes to Gotek's pin 1 and pin 34 goes to Gotek's pin 34).
One jumper is placed at position S0.
No further jumpers are used.

Preparing a suitable USB went a little less flawless..
For now I have a working Config file and one disk image which I made using a real diskette + HxCFloppyEmulator_soft.
This works well: I can select the disk image and load it.

I haven´t successfully been able to save data to blank disk images yet.
Maybe I don´t have correct blank disk images, maybe something else is wrong.
MPC60II says: "disk not formatted" when I select an Empty Disk Image from the QuickInstall_FloppyDiskImages zip file.

I'll keep you informed as soon as I have made new progress.
