AKAI S950 Resistor soldering

Greetings,

I have limited knowledge electronically, just wanna check with the forum if this is the right way of soldering the resistor 2.2k ohm onto R12 position.

Btw, the connector from the sampler doesnt seem to fit SD drive's connector as well as the floppy drive.

They are both 4 pin, the grooves on both connectors dont fit well with each other.

Any thoughts?

This is ok, but the resistor case is a way too big.

Thanks Jeff for the info re the resistor , any advise on the connectors, they both dont seem to fit each other vey well. Did i get the right SD drive for my Akai ? :?

Yes. doesn't fit at all?
