First minutes with HXC & S950

Hi! Connected the HXC into my s950. Formatted 32gb SDHC transcend card in FAT format. Copied HXCSDFE.CFG from Config>Default folder. Now powered on my s950 and when trying to save it says that disk is unprepared you must format it, when trying to format - "disk is write protected". HELP!!!

Download this :
http://hxc2001.free.fr/floppy_drive_emu ... Images.zip

Unrar SDHxCFE_Akai_S950.rar to the root of your SDCard (in formatted in FAT32...).

Your SD is ready.

Don't forget to apply the resistor patch for the S950.

Thanks for help. Done all of this actions (I asked lotharek to do this resistor mod when buying it on ebay because i dont know how to do it :roll:

)
Now when loaded this files to card i can see them. I choose empty_disk_000.hfe then when trying to save program i see - disk is unprepared you must format it. ???

Try this : remove the SD, enter the setting menu :
-> <Interface CFG> -> <S950 DD> -> <EXIT>

Reinsert your sd and retry.

The same . Maybe resistor mod is not applied? How this will look when its applied? Sorry but im full dumb in all that technical stuff :oops:

No jumper ? you need to put a jumper at the position ID0A

Also : did you see a resistor at the R12 placement (right down on the picture).
