Ok i got your videos ! Very impressive ! Thanks !

The loading seems slow ! I think that this is a GAP3 setting problem.
That's why i have corrected this setting with these files images.
Tell me if the loading speed up!

We on the contrary, sought a low speed, then the data is transferred without errors. In the "floppy emulator setting " indicated "IBM PC 720 kb ". In all other modes to read faster and get error in knitting porgram.

Hi Jeff!
How are you?
Hope you are fine and well.
I have a problem.
The old computer at which was installed the HxC floppy emulator, has been replaced by more modern
After replacing the computer I could not write data to a floppy disk emulator installed on new computer but all worked on the old computer correctly
Differences from the old computer and new computer is:
1) support only a single floppy (A).
2) higher productivity.
3) Additional Information:
version of the firmware emulator «V1_6_1_1B»;
emulator connected via a twisted cable; ( A mode )
in the bios of the the computer floppy listed as 5.25 1.2 m; (A mode )
Jumper is setting in the following way

PS:
with a real, floppy 5 "25 disk driver everything is working properly
waiting for your advice
with best regards
Slava

Can you access the floppy emulator with this new PC ? (can you read the disk?)
Did you see something special on the HxC LCD when you try write on the HxC ?

Note: There are a new software for Windows :
https://hxc2001.com/floppy_drive_emulat ... fd_hxc.zip
With this one you should be able to avoid the use of the HxC Floppy Emulator on the modern/windows machine.
Can you send me your software ? I want to check if this one can work on the VFD virtual drive.

I moved to the sd-card pre-prepared image (located in the attached file), working from the command line under real DOS, OS was not able to access the floppy A:, the system turned to HxC floppy emulator (on the LCD message was RA).
I did check, transferred to the card images of floppy disks 3,5 '1,44 M and 5.25 M 1.2, OS appealed to the HxC Floppy emulatoru no errors!
Unfortunately CNC machine can only work with a floppy drive 5.25 ".
Configuration of jumpers in the A:/ twisted cable.
. . . .
. |. .
. . |.
I want to emphasize that earlier this image worked on the old machine with no problems.
The difference was previously installed as drive B :/ on a direct cable, configuration jumpers
. . . .
. . |.
. |. .

«Vfd_hxc» I can not use because the program runs under pure DOS.
It makes no sense to send you the program because it requires a hardware dongle (hardlock).

Waiting for your advice.

So you can read 1.44MB disk image with the HxC on this new PC ?
In this case this probably an double or single step issue. (Bios issue in fact...)
Try the attached disk image on the pc.

Ok, just change the setting into the "USB HxC Floppy Emulator" settings window in the hxc software.
But one to keep in mind : The USB HxC Floppy Emulator is an old design and doesn't have the write support.

ok I just need the emulator to read, what settings do I need to apply to the USB HxC Floppy Emulator software window? So it can work similar to the sd Hxc emulator, from I have been reading, I know that the emulation type has to be sugart, the drive Id settings I get from the physical drive of the machine? and the packet size setting what should be? thanks in advance for the help.
