Floppy Emulator don´t update

Hello, a friend handed me a floppy emulator which apparently is in trouble in the PIC. He does not accept updates, apparently dead. The sale is available only from the PIC? or else. hex with the bootstrap? Thank you!

Is a led blinking when you try to update the pic ?

No, nothing happens.

form my side :

it is not possible.

If sd emuls works - it means it has been loaded form sd card. In my opinion You have WRONG SD CARD PREPARED : not formatted or sth,

if You see sd emul working, it means it has passed flashing tests. there is no other way,

so, nothing happens, no messages, no leds blinking.

I have been tested the Voltage, but apparently is all OK (also the voltage regulator).

The display is OK, I have been tested.

I think is possible others parts still dead (ICs), but a great test is an another PIC with the bootstrap or full updated or the .hex of bootstrap to write another PIC.

I don´t re-write the original PIC with any code because I don´t know if the PIC is OK or not.

So I need buy an another PIC with an bootstrap or updated or the .hex.
