Any news on this topic? My akai x7000 with memory expansion is right now gathering dust in storage. I´m hoping so much this to come true. :)

i have a akai s612 and the akai md280 qd drive will be willing to test also

+ a roland s220

+ have many quick disks if needed

Please email or pm me if you need any reliable testers I'm based in London, and have tested both software/ hardware for other parties.

Thanks for your proposition. The prototype is actually based on fpga eval board so the form factor doesn't match the true drive yet. but this should be a problem for a beta tester ;)

BTW can you post some reference of your QD brand and model + a pinout picture ?
