Can you export these data to a file ? i want to check some precise timing.
What format do you want?
csv and binary. You can send them zipped to hxc2001 at hxc2001.com

Since the application is free you might have use for the capture itself, then you can scroll through it at will. It think it allows for measurements directly inside the app.

I don't see anymore the short ready time similar to this :

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=773&start=375#p21408

Can you reproduce it ?

Thanks.

Attached an blank image matching with your captures. The total track length is definitively shorter than i expected : 7.23s vs 8s. These drive seems to rotate faster than the others found in others machines.

EDIT : Removed !

Sadly, still a Verify Error on that one.
Also, I can't read it back (I/O Error 2).

My actual drive has a brand new drive belt (so no sagging as older belts might do), I'm not sure that influences the speed. Anyway, as there's no way to calibrate these drives I'm guessing speeds will vary anyway.

Try with the attached image and share them once done.

EDIT : roland_qd.zip (2) Removed !

May be interesting to make some trace with the gotek to compare the behaviour ?

I'll look into that, I need to make something to make it more easily interchangeable (I soldered 9 wires directly to the drive now)

Results attached. Both give verify error, but both are readable.

I think that my ready signal is a little shifted versus the data position. I will check this this evening against the logic analyser capture.

Trick firmware results. Verify error on both and unreadable (I/O Error 2)
