Stuck at boot...Reading Fat...some info

Juste received the card and i did some preliminary test .

1-SD Card SanDisk 2GB Type 2(MMAGF02GWECA-MB) had 2 card of this kind.

formatted the card FAT32 default allocation quick format.
transfered the HXCSDFE.cfg from SDCard_HxCFloppyEmulator_firmware\Config_File\Autoboot_FileSelector_Mode\Default_AutoBoot_Mode

when i insert the card it stays stuck at the Reading Fat... and the red light flashes.

did everything i could think of nothing worked.

2-Tried with a Kingston SD 2GB. (SD-M02G 1129UT0017G)

Worked flawlessly on the first try in less then a second to read. menu works etc.

So it seems the sandisk sd card have a problem with reading. I'll be returning those for 2 kingston SD.

Hope this helps, if someone has a similar problem.

Amazing product btw, I'll be testing those Amiga floppies this weekend!

Generally SanDisk SD Card work well with the HxC.

There are 2 things to test :

1- Try to reinit the sdcard with this :
https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_3/
And reformat it in FAT32.

2- Check the 5V power supply. if the voltage is too high (>5.5V) such behavior can occurs.

Verified voltage with fluke meter 5.09V dc so very good.

Reformatted sd card with utility, Reformatted Fat 32(with windows) the utility only formats in Fat.

Copied the HXCSDFE.CFG back.

Same problem light is flashing red with LCD showing Reading Fat... (stays like this forever).

Solved the problem by returning those sandisk sd card and replacing them with kingston.

Tried HXC emulator on amiga 500 worked flawlessly...played leisure suit larry tonight..oh boy brings back memories hehe.
