Powering up the SD HxC card

Post by John79 »

Jeff,

I would like your help. I know that the SD version of the HxC card needs 5V to work. So, you only need 5V and GND right?

Looking the card from the top, the power connector is located at the top right. Could you please tell me what those 4 pins exactly are from left to right, pins 1 to 4?

Thank you!

Pin 1 -> +5V
Pin 2 -> GND
Pin 3 -> GND
Pin 4 -> NC

and Jeff, how much current (approximately) does the SD HxC requires from the 5V supply?

Thanks!

mhh 300mA should be ok, 500mA is better.
