No go Proramming the Gotek...

Post by hooleydog »

ARGGG. I can't figure out what's going on with trying to program this bloody Gotek drive.. I have the power hooked up and USB TTL TX to RX, RX to TX to the Gotek.. Jumper on the 2 Gotek pins. Installed the SerialBridge program, and selected COM 4 (The USB TTL is on COM 4) (Laptop).. Click on connect. All I get is connection is up!., and that's all. The USB TTL don't see the Gotek, is it the USB TTL or the Gotek faulty.. Not sure, as I've checked all the connections and I have got them all correct...

Oh.. The USB cable is from my USB DVD Drive.. Because I didn't one with the right plug for the USB TTL ..

this might be the problem : TX should go to RX and RX to TX.
