It would be such a great option to have firmware update on sd card.If you could share the source codes,it will be really helpfull for everyone. Besides,Could you please add hex2upd into HxCFloppy 1.3? I think it will be more useful, if you do so.Besides,In new version sd cards,it does not give any warning as it is empty.
