I'm considering upgrading my Yamaha Clavinova CVP-207 by replacing the (perfectly working) floppy drive with some kind of emulator.
http://lotharek.pl/product.php?pid=121 seems a very nice product, but I'm thinking of even more user friendliness by creating some setup where the emulator would read/write its data directly from my NAS, using something like https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... 41&t=58345.
But there's some statement there that is definitely a showstopper:
Is this limitation actually present? If not, where is it clearly documented that the current hardware/firmware version of http://lotharek.pl/product.php?pid=113 does support read/write emulation of 1.44MB floppies? One major limitation of the actual hardware : It doesn’t support the write from the host computer !
Next to that, I'll obviously need confirmation that either emulator would work on the CVP-207.
TIA for your help.
