I want update the firmware of my HxC SD (v1.1.2.3) to v1.7.2.0. I've read that before i need v1.2.0.0, or its bootloader (HxC_SD_Bootloader_V1_0TOV1_1.upd). Where can download a reliable version?

I need download this firmmare update. I've found it here:

But, I am not sure that this file is correct and I can damage my HxC.

Why do you want to update this firmware ?

Because I wish use the autoboot with my CPC and I have problems. The SD HxC says that it can't access to SD when I execute hxc.hfe.

Finally I've updated to the 1.7.1.2 and when I execute the autoboot.hfe with run"Hxc in my CPC 6128 it displayed an error in the lcd (Direct access LBA 000000 08) and the cpc is reset.
What is the problem?

I've probed with 2.5, 3 and 3.1 manager version.

Check you jumper setting & try the firwmare 1.7.2.0

Hello Jeff!

I've the same 'problem'.

The HxC emulator is installed in the disk expansion port of my 6128 CPC. I've configured the jumpers as the first disk drive and I've disabled the internal floppy disk drive unplug the floppy cable from the internal disk drive. I've updated the firmware as 1.7.2.0 too.
