Not HxC related but I figure someone here would know:
I have a device (Akai s-950) that requires a floppy disk to be present in the floppy drive before it will let me access volumes on the SCSI bus. I am seeking to do away with the floppy - can I connect the +5VDC floppy power line to pin 34 of the floppy interface on the main board (via a voltage divider) to fake the READY signal?
