Hello! I have a very nice condition IBEX 7202 which has dual 8" drives .... but are not reliable - or the floppies are degrading... or both!
My plan is to get a "Rev F" emulator and a 50 pin cable converter and see if I can start using the Emulator instead of the drives...
Couple of questions
1. Rev F - the right choice?
2. If no Floppy Images exist on the interwebs for IBEX (I checked out bitsavers etc), is it within the scope of a low-grade home technical person (like me!) to create a boot image for the Emulator?
3. 50 pin-to- 34 pin floppy converter - any recommendations?
thanks in advance!

Re: Ibex 7202 CP/M z80 with twin 8" drives
Well in good news I found an image for the Ibex from retroarchive.org/maslin/disks/8inch/index.html
So if anyone can guide me - is Rev F the way to go, and what's a sensible way for me to convert 50pin Ibex to regular floppy?
cheers!

thank you Phil - just ordered!! (3 of them, minimum order it would seem which is good because I have two IBM AS/400 boxes lying around with 8" drives... future project)
Is there a functional difference between Rev F device and Rev C? I was interested in rev C due to it being in an enclosed box...
cheers

Hi Hails,
I've owned IBEX computers for 40 years.
I currently have a 7202 CPU monitor/keyboard but
lost the drives a long time ago.
Let me know if you wanna get rid of those drives, I'd like to make mine whole.
