I joined this forum in order to ask if the Kawai K5000 format is going to be supported anytime soon? The K5000 reads and writes in .KA1 files for single patches and .KAA files for patch banks.
Moreover, the Kawai has the standard 3.5 inch slot so the device as it is now, will not fit. The Kawai's case is solid metal and there's no space for a bigger device or drilling holes. Will a 3.5 inch form factor ever be created?
Thanks a lot for any info!
Regarding the floppy disk, how are stored KA1/KAA files ?
Can you dump a K5000 floppy disk with this tool and send me the file image? :http://hxc2001.free.fr/floppy_drive_emu ... r_soft.zip
Regarding the case, the board will fit if you remove the lcd screen (the lcd screen is detachable).
You have some examples on youtube :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bm7avjMSviU
But we are actually working to find a casing solution.
