Hi Jeff,

just a follow up on this thread. I managed the HxC working with my LINN9000 (Forat Mod). But I did not manage to copy the discs onto the HxC. The Blank disc works, but grabbing a real disch via PC don´t. I have no problem with other formats, such as Ensoniq or Roland, but Forat don´t work.
Can you verify that or any idea whats wrong? If you want I could send out a hxc file and a real disc for testing purposis.

What I did meanwhile is a hot swap. Load in the samples via Sony Floppy and then hot swap the cable and save onto the Hxc. Works well but is a lot of work.

Thanks for help,
Cheers
Jürgen

- which model should I order ?
- how does it fit with the existing hardware ?
- are there adaptators / 3D printed / other solutions to have a nice fit, as you can find for the SCSI2SD boards ?
- do you have the pin to pin match ? Since there's already a pin converter between the floppy control board and the original Sony drive in the 9000, do you have to plug from the board or from the converter ?

I use a Lotharek SD FB - HXC Rev F BLACK CASE, that fits the old floppy disc construction. It may sits 5mm too far away which dont bother me and also protects the red tactile switches. I did black cover stripes on top and below the SD reader. I also used the pinout from Jeff but let the unconnected wires floating. I crimped a cable myself.

Once you managed to copy files from floppy to SD via a pc and the emulation software, please let me know. Once it works I am willing to share my discs with lot of quality samples. Good luck so far. Its worth it.

Cheers.

Probably a bitrate/RPM issue. force the bitrate to 500kbits/s into the embedded hxc menu.

Hi Jeff,

I still don't get it to work. Emulator still reads way to many bad blocks. What else can I try?
