I want to replace the floppy drive in my Technics KN1000 keyboard with a USB equivalent as none of my PCs now have a floppy drive.
I have pulled the disk drive (Newtronics D357T2) from the keyboard but it only has a single 34 pin data cable.
There is NO power cable connection. (I am quite certain of that) Is it possible that Technics supplied the floppy units power via unused data wires.
Many Thanks
