You don't have the HxC Firmware so the HxC tools and files will not work.
if you want to get the firmware : https://hxc2001.com/store
you need a tll usb serial converter to reprogram the device.
tll...
I have a TTL serial converter... MDRRS3232M v.1.1,
I think it can work ...

Thanks!

Can I pay it via PayPal?

but...

Please, can anyone help me to understand connection?
[...]
-> Connect your serial adapter to the device and to the PC. (GND,RX,TX,+5V)
Note 1: To power the device, you can use a external +5V source or the +5V coming from your USB adapter.
Note 2: Cross connect your serial adapter to the device : TX wire to the RX pin, RX wire to the TX pin.
[...]

VCC to J3: OK
Then.... Where are RX TX GND etc on the GOTEK FDD EMU? :?:

Hi, I tried to flash it.
but it always stays on LINK IS UP! :|
only the first time he wrote that he did not recognize the device.
I checked the connections and they are ok.
is it also necessary to connect the 34-pin ribbon to the same computer?
jumpers should not be moved, right?

if you have put the boot0 the drive shouldn't display anything ! i think that you haven't set the boot0 strap.

you're right, there was a false contact between VCC and J3.
I arranged it.
Now the display remains off.
But the status always on LINK IS UP! and after about a minute he writes that he does not recognize the device.
I think I should buy one flashed ready to go with your firmware...

Is both RX/TX increasing ?
Try to reset the drive. Some units have some issue to enter in DFU/programming mode.

Hi all!
I'm about to pull the trigger and install either a Gotek or a Lotharek drive in my S2 Turbo.
Can anybody tell me how I need to proceed to convert all my old floppy disks into disk images to move over to an SD card for Gotek/Lotharek?
Also: which drive should I get? Any relevant differences?
Thanks,
Flavio.
