Blank Ensoniq images or settings

Post by adammokan »

I have two HxC floppy emulators (that work across two ASR-10s and an EPS-12+) and have converted operating system images over and booted fine and so-on. But I'm looking to use the SD floppy emulators for new sampling as part of my future workflow and not so much interested in converting old disks or images, but working with blank images as if they were blank floppy discs.

Can someone provide some insight for creating a blank ASR-10 floppy image or maybe has one they can share. Even better would be to know if anyone has figured out a way to create an image bigger than a standard 1.44mb floppy or if the ASR could handle that? It would be excellent to have even a 4-5mb floppy image.

why not copy and rename one of your existing disk images then format it with the ensoniq. That would give you a blank disk. From there just make as many copies on the SD card as you want
