Converting old (OS) sound disks and bank loading problem.

Post by dJ dAb »

Not quite sure how to do this... I would love to convert my old sound disks to the newest OS but how do I do this? I've imported all my sound disks but when I drop them onto the HxC2001 w/ SD. Everything works fine except one thing... I can load the first bank just fine but when I go to load bank 2 or 3, I can't unless I reload the image into the HxC2001. Basically, I have to reload the image everytime I want to change banks within the same disk image. Strange! I think this is because my disks were created from an early OS. Is there a way I can cut and paste the OS code to the disks but not alter the sounds, so they will load properly?

btw, I've noticed other disk images created with newer OS disks don't have this problem.

Thanks, Sean
