Hello again.

Now i'm back from my little vacation and i have good news and bad news. I know i'm running out of patience with some but i have no choice but to seek help this. Sorry.

Today i received the new EPROM's 1.5B of Syntaur and working properly. This has allowed me to use the HxC file "ASR10353EDA.hfe" which earlier did not allow 1.0 EPROMS.

The problem now is that when the load reaches 10

...and resets the ASR-10 display the message "ERROR 009 - REBOOT?"

At this point you can not do anything but reset (off) the ASR-10.

I have understood that the error 009 is related floppy disk problems. Could be wrong the HxC? not appear, because normally load up to 10(of 80). Could be wrong file .hfe? others are not supported with this new version of the EPROM's. Can anyone give me one O.S. different?

I'm about to go crazy, but do not give up yet. I think I'm very close to the solution ... help please

Thank you very much.

retry with this one : http://hxc2001.free.fr/floppy_drive_emu ... 53_EDA.zip

Also : What is your jumper setting ? this should be set to ID0-A.

WORKS!!!

Still I have a problem with two keys ("KEYBOARD FAILED - TRY AGAIN?") but i managed to load the operating system and original sound banks that are on the Internet.

Obviously the last problem was a fuse, curious because i had tried a thousand times. I had mistaken the error 040, it does have to do with the floppy.

Thank you very much for your help and support, especially Jeff, logically. I am very happy :D and recommend if your device has a chance.

A great greeting.

Jeff:

No, the problem was a combination of factors: the O.S. in HxC, the old EPROM's 1.0 in the ASR, and least, the fuse blow in the power board of the ASR-10.

From the first time i used the jumper in position ID 0. On the other, not work at all. And the position of floppy cable as it was originally.

Unfortunately, there is one last thing that i will not be able to fix: the two keys that do not work. Because the system keyboard in the ASR-10 is really strange, is not as simple as cleaning and there you would have to change the whole keypad plate (board), but no longer available parts.

But at least for now I can use it as a sound module accessible via MIDI.

Many thanks for all...
