Shugart jumper settings for Drive A ID1

How set the HxC jumper settings for 1 drive = ID1 in Shugart emulation ?

is useful for copying toolds disks like (OS's, memory test, scanner test, sounds test) :wink:

I want to boot from a floppy 5.25 "(utilities) and to allow copying to the drive HxC...

It's easy to read floppy disks image if the HxC is the second drive, but it's impossible to write or format the same image disk

on which image are you trying to write ?
Can you write to the HxC when it set to ID0 (first drive) ?
What is your jumper setting ?
