sp1200 help required

Post by sp12000 »

im trying to install a rev 5 hxc in my sp1200 ,i seem to be stuck and would appreciate any assistance.

So far i've plugged it all in, it powers up ,i ve installed 2 jumpers on pins 4 and 8 ( from above, facing rear, left to right) as shown in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACX8bseE6Ew

ive installed firmware V1.7.1.2 which appears when you scroll through the front panel.

Floppy cable is as it was ,red line on right hand side of drive ( viewed from front)

I have reformatted the sd card in FAT 32 and loaded HXCSDFE.CFG 8KB AND SP1200_OS12_SND_SP1200FD.HFE onto the card
nothing else . HFE file from http://torlus.com/floppy/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=714

It all powers up when i insert sd card the display shows "Reading FAT...-" no noises thats all that happens
As i scroll through settings are

interface CFG :from HFE file

bitrate : from HFE file

track step: from HFE file

drive B : OFF

step sound : from CFG file

sound volume : from CFG file

standby: from CFG file

ive already had a couple of tips from 12bitski outside the forum and would be greatful if anyone can help me get it working

thanks

SDCard compatibility issue... Will be solved in the next firmware version.

Have you another SDCArd brand/model to try ?
