Got mine this afternoon.

I have the Emu SP1200 problem where the unit fails on the first read attempt after powering up but is fine for all further attempts until the unit is powered off.

A small price to pay for having bulk storage on an SD card.
So fantastic!
Thanks Lotharek (&Jeff!)

To all : once you got your emulator installed into your hardware, don't hesitate to make pictures / videos and post them here or on youtube  .

anyone else problems with the (original) 3.5" drives skrews not fitting into the hxc mounting holes?

anyway, apart from not being fixed by skrews it fits, and works:

Apart from the hole placement being slightly offset from the floppy I am replacing, the screw holes do not appear to be threaded. There's bound to be some tool for threading this other than risking plowing ahead with screws. I'm going to try fixing the unit in place with double sided tape. I'm still giddy from how awesome it is

the hole positions are aligned with the ones in the asr10. I agree with nutjob: they're just not threaded. however, the drive stays in place good without screws.

i like the bare metal look, so i didn't attach the sticker.

Saw the xray on your website... OUCH!

For some reason the holes on the sp1200 are more narrowly spaced than those on the underside of the HxC. I presume that the floppy drive that the HxC replaces is also standard but who knows... I'm certainly not bothered.

I got the stickers but I prefer the bare metal look too.

To everyone :

It's very important for us that you take some pictures & videos of the Rev F HxC Floppy Emulator into your hardware and put them over the web (forums, youtube ...). Please "spread the word", the visibility over the web of the product is very important for us.
There are tons of videos/pictures of the HxC FE RevC over the web but almost nothing about the HxC FE RevF.

If for some technical/time reasons you can’t post the videos/pictures, don't hesitate to contact me, i can provide some FTP server to upload videos/pictures.

The <<perfect>> videos/pictures should show the HxC device, if possible with the sticker to make it recognizable into the computer/keyboard/CNC machine.
For the videos, please try to show the computer/keyboard/CNC machine working with the HxC Floppy Emulator: loading something then show the hardware working.
Some seconds/one minutes may be enough.
For the pictures please avoid blurry picture. Again the HxC should be recognizable.

We are particularly interested by CNC machines and Keyboard/Samplers videos/pictures !

Again this is very important because :
-This help us to understand in which case/domain the HxC FE is used.
-This help the device/project to be well known.
-And this motivate us to improve the software/hardware and make some new hardware in the future ;)

Thanks a lot by advance ! :D
