Yes this is a possibility. lotharek are you ok for this ?
It doesn`t give me the certainty all other elements are fittetd OK and SD works OK.

I think, Jeff, I may do it, but ANY WARRANTY to the product will be given at all.

anyway: please vote for BEST LCD DISPLAY COLOUR :
+ 1 for Blue one.
For the butttons, leave it on the pcb. you can add buttons without remove original buttons.

i don't recommend to add wire to connect the sdcard to the emulator cause of signal integrity problems. If you want really do this, you can solder wire on some Via (leave the original connector in place).
For my part, I think I will go for this solution, as the LCD can be moved...

Hi, I consider buying a SD HxC but I have some questions first :

- I don't have a paypal account, can I buy using an international VISA card on ebay ? Do you (the vendor) have a basic paypal account or a better one that allows credit/debit card payments ?

- The SD HxC doesn't allow writing for the amiga, is this a software or hardware limitation ? Is there the same problem for the USB HxC ? Will IPS support be improved in the next firmware releases ?

Would be a good idea for people with low budget but good soldering skills (like me).

No writing support for Amiga! -> Hardware Limitation (no enough ram).
Limited IPF support ! -> Hardware Limitation (cpu no enough powerful).

OK, I have another question : it seems that the USB HxC provides read only support (https://hxc2001.com/floppy_drive_emulat ... pyemulator).
Is it a sofware limitation or a hardware limitation ?
Can writing support be provided by a software update ?

For the SD HxC, it is possible (in a future version) to have a switch allowing to choose between the real floppy drive and the SD HxC ?
Can you tell more about the "Two floppy disk drives emulation (In the next firmware version)" ?

Another question about USB and SD HxC : is the diskchange signal supported ?
in the videos, the machine is always turned off for a disk change.

Again : Hardware limitation: No write support at all for the usb version.

This is already possible by adding a switch on the floppy cable to exchange DS0 & DS1 signals.

The device will be able to emulate 2 drives (A: & B: for example).

Yes the diskchange signal is supported.

OK, thanks for the answers, I'll buy a SD one without regrets.

lotharek, does the paypal logo on your ebay page means that I can buy one with an international VISA ? (and without any paypal account).
